Operational Excellence

Whatever your need or market, with ProAct International you don't buy a solution, you buy a business strategy and a business partner that will never inhibit your corporate goals. Our technology is built with the purpose of enhancing and driving your business forward in a world that is in a perpetual state of change and one that has never been so unpredictable.  Our levels of innovation, creativity and vision are second to none as is the scope and depth of our capability.

What makes us different is that we haven't just jumped on the bandwagon of flexibility and agility, it has been our development strategy and ethos since 2000 making our product wholly suited to the environment we find ourselves in today. Our expertise, culture and technology is the result of 20 years of immersion in the global supply chain arena providing solutions to companies such as UPS, Emery, Exel, Ryder, Caterpillar Logistics, Wallenius Wilhelmsen and IDS logistics to name a few.

Although, not the most high profile of solution providers, our focus for many years has been on servicing the needs of innovators and pioneers working within the supply chain....

"I was introduced to them almost 20 years ago while doing some supply chain work for UPS World Wide Logistics and they impressed me so much, I have kept in touch and followed their progress … their solution showed me the continued development, vision, innovation, and commitment to excellence that I appreciate in a software company."
Sandy Phillips, Omada Technology Solutions (formerly a senior consultant at CSC and Perot Systems Corp.)

"ProAct is a strategic partner for Ryder in Latin America.  We use ProAct tools in Latin America in several industries including automotive, industrial, and high-technology products, and we leverage the software's web-based capability for WMS and transportation track & trace"
Gene Sevilla, VP & Managing Director, Ryder, Latin America

"the solution represents a strategic solution within WWL and is a benchmark for visibility and event management for finished vehicle distribution“
Craig Ewing, formerly VP Global IS&T, Wallenius Wilhelmsen

But how can an SME like ProAct provide this level of capability ?. The 'big' software providers may have large resources to develop new systems, but often their momentum and business model does not always enable creativity or allow them to respond to the market quickly which is critical in today's environment. ProAct however, is agile and flexible enough to get leading edge functionality to the 'front line' of supply chain, quickly and safely.

2008/09 has been a tough year for business and consequently for the supply chain market. These difficulties have forced dramatic and painful change, but have also allowed executives to make bold changes to their business model, structure and operations.  Traditionally, it is in such challenging times that innovation thrives. Major procurers of supply chain technology and services are now responding to these drivers. This is reflected in an excerpt from a UK defence supply chain strategy white paper :

"In today’s world of rapid technology change, there also needs to be a more effective engagement with the so-called ‘lower-tier’ suppliers; namely the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) who are often involved in the development of very innovative technologies and materials. We need to understand value at all levels, highlighting the role of innovation through the supply chain." - UK MOD Defence Strategy White Paper

For most businesses however, the bottom line is ROI and improved cash flow. Neither of these can be gained from simply administering a supply chain. Only through driving the supply chain proactively and not only enabling, but encouraging perpetual change can real benefits be gained. ProAct's capability and technology is the first stage to achieving this goal.
