United Kingdom, August 2009 - ProAct International Ltd, the UK based Supply Chain Software specialist have signed a strategic partnership agreement with Atlanta based company RMI. ProAct and RMI will bring together their combined specialities of supply chain technology, market experience and state of the art hosting facilities to provide an enhanced supply chain management service offering within the US, Canada and Latin America. ProAct has worked successfully in these markets for many years, but sees the strategic relationship with RMI as the catalyst to raising its profile and market penetration.

ProAct and RMI have been in discussions since early 2009 with both parties excited by the potential synergies of a partnership.  ProAct’s brings with it an innovative multi-modal supply chain technology and RMI the market expertise and hosting capabilities. Together, they intend to offer some new and unique service offerings to the US market.

The two companies will be refining their offering during the second half of 2009 and providing solutions to the market later in 2009. The solutions will be targeted at carriers, shippers and manufacturers across a wide range of markets. With a background within rail, RMI will also look to enhance the door-to-door supply chain capabilities available to rail based shippers.
